Eventhough there are many more temples in Tamilnadu, the temple a palani is the most famous for its kind. The power of siddhas, who attained ‘Jeeva Samadhi’ thousands of years ago, is prevailing in palani. It is note worthy that the two great siddhar Bogar and Pulipani also did ‘Thapas’ and attained the Jeeva Samathi at Palani. Almost all the status which are made pradhiksha at the ‘Karparkraga’  of a temple are made up of stone or metals. But the only temple which has the pride of having a status made up of ‘Navabashana’ – a combination of 64 rare herbals during the starting of kaliuga dedicated to the people to attain ‘Gnana’- knowledge and to lead a life without physical and mental disease. This ‘navabashana was prepared based on the power of Navagraha and the power excretion, that is let out through the nine holes of the human body.

The natural pasana’s like a

1) Veeram,

2) Pooram,

3)Karam,

4) Gowri,

5)Manosilai,

6) Lingam,

7)rasam,

8)Kandhagam,

9) vellai pasana

are cured methodically and added with the juice of many life herbals and also added with prosperous as the Guru. Thus the navabashana was prepared. All the pasana’s are midst according to the ratio and so it acts as the changes that are all created in the human body.

When a person stands before the navabashana’s statue to pray the rays that are emitted from the statue. Penetrates through ‘Netrilcan’ and cures the blood, chukla and suronitham and the same is proved scientifically. And it is a mystery for a ordinary human who may not know its power beyond human.
