In popular and famous in Tamilnadu. These is a place called ‘siddha lives (siddhan valvu) it is nothing but palani (vaigavur). This is a place where the power of mars is fully absorbed. This is the third of the famous six temples of lord Muruga (Arapadai Veedu) called avinankudi.

Boghar, the siddha who is well-versed in Asthama siddhi’s called Maha Siddhar and who travelled all over the world and reached palani at the end of dhwabara yoga along with disciple Pulipani. They calculated the future without missing the experience of the past. In order to eradicate the physical and mental disease and to long last the siddha power on earth, produced navabashana status of shri.Ghanadhandayuthapani.  Bogar, from that instance along with his disciple Pulipani had been performing pooja’s to Gnanadhandayuthapani till ‘kaliyugathi 205’.

At the time of attaining the state of Samadhi. Bogar sat at the corner of south-west of the temple and asked Pulipani to get married into perform  pooja’s to the lord Shri Ghanadhandayuthapani and maragatha lingam, bhuvaneshwari amma and also the chakra’s to which they have been performing pooja’s earlier and also asked Pulipani to blessed the people. After leaving the responsibilities to Pulipani Boghar attained nirvigalpa samathi. Pulipani, according to the order of his Guru started performing pooja’s to Maragatha lingam and Bhuvaneshwari amma. Starting with Pulipani his heirs have been performing pooja’s to maragathalingam, Bhuvaneshwari amma and chakra’s as their predecessor.
